Tirdas, 2nd of Heartfire 4E201
The short stay at Windhelm was rather depressing. The weight of the civil war is pressing hard upon the population. I decided to leave early dawn, to hit the road for Dawnstar. When I passed Anga's Mill, I noticed that the tombstone of Leifur was gone. Probably people buried him elsewhere. The road further to Heljarchen was peaceful and easy.
The local blacksmith permitted me to use his tools, so I decided to try and make both our leader armour. When finally done, the blacksmith congratulated me, calling these "two pieces of exquisite quality"! I'm proud.

Next day I continued the road. It was cold, and I had to halt several times to warm up at a camp fire. Arriving at Fort Dunstad it was clear the Stormcloaks were preparing something. The Fort was crowded with soldiers, and were rather agitated.

The rest of the road was calm: a few wolves and a wandering necromancer was all we had to deal with. We arrived at Dawnstar late afternoon.
